At Barnard, you’ll manipulate, interpret, and disseminate data in ways that engage and are relevant to your audience, whether you’re a poet or a statistician.
New Ways to Learn
Learning at Barnard involves thinking and doing, the classroom and the real world. You’ll have opportunities to shift perspectives as you take the ideas you’ve learned into the research lab, behind the scenes in a museum, or abroad. Recently, some Barnard students worked with asylum seekers at a Texas ICE family detention center, while dozens assisted faculty with research or conducted their own projects as scientists.
